Excavator Soccer ball

A Hydraulic excavator will be used for this event. The objective is to remove soccer balls from highway cones and place them in a garbage can. The hydraulic excavator will lift the bucket from a resting position on the ground at which point the timer will start, then swinging around lifting the soccer balls off highway cones set at various distances and put them in a Rubbermaid garbage can. The timer stops when the last ball is placed in the garbage can. There will be a 2 minute maximum time limit.

Penalties:

1. If the bucket comes in contact with the garbage can there will be 20 seconds added to the total time for each time it occurs.

2. If a Highway cone is knocked off of its area at all there will be 20 seconds added to the total time for each time it occurs.

3. If a ball doesn’t go in the garbage can there will be 30 seconds added to the total time.

4. There will be a 2 minute maximum time limit.
